Ingredients
- • 2 boneless pork tenderloin chops (0.75 – 1lb total weight)
- • 1 tbsp butter or vegetable oil for marinade
- • 1 tbsp butter or vegetable oil for cooking
- • 1/4 cup diced onions
- • 1/2 tsp cayenne powder
- • 1 tsp ginger paste
- • 1 tsp thyme
- • 1 tbsp sherry wine vinegar
- • Salt and pepper to taste
- • 2 tbsp Souvei Savory Tamarind Chutney
Directions
- 1. In a bowl, mix the garlic, thyme, butter (or oil), cayenne powder, pepper and salt. Coat the pork tenderloins evenly and let it marinate in the fridge for 15-20 minutes.
- 2. Heat the butter or oil in a pan on medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes.
- 3. Add the onions and stir frequently. Once they turn brown, in 2-3 minutes, add the pork tenderloins.
- 4. Roast on the pan on one side for 60 seconds. Flip the pieces and roast the other side for another 60 seconds
- 5. Lower the heat to medium low, place a lid on the pan and cook for 4-5 minutes.
- 6. Remove the lid and flip the pork pieces.
- 7. Spread a tbsp of Souvei Savory Tamarind Chutney on top of each pork piece. Add more if stronger flavors are desired.
- 8. Place the lid over the pan and let the pork cook for another 1-2 minutes or until the pork is fully cooked.
- 9. Serve immediately with a side salad of your choice or grilled garlic bread or mashed potatoes on the side. Enjoy!
